Of course vampires have venom! But each kind has different effects silly! Each kind is quite different and depending on the species of course can vary...either way brush up on your venom kid! Might want to know what kind poison your infected with!
Venom Type A
Only belonging to Draacurs this venom is extremely thick. Almost like molasses and uses many muscles to be excreted from the fangs. It swims through the veins slowly, multiplying if given in enough dosage. It tends to swallow the human blood cells, almost like a new skin, not destroying them but simply changing them as well. It destroys the nucleus of each cell slowly replacing it with a new one. Changing everything about the person who is being change. If ingested this poison cannot be digested and will do the same thing to stomach acid, unfortunately, causing it to harden killing whom ever ingested it. Though other Draacurs seem to be immune to their venom.
Venom Type B
Almost like water this venom works extremely quickly within a few minutes. But thanks to this has a tendency to leak from the fangs leaving it less then potent. It would have to be massive doses of the venom to cause a change, along with blood exchange, over days (normally about ten). This venom races through the veins like a super virus attacking blood cells and causing the heart to kick into an over drive. The venom infects the blood cells like a disease causing the vampirism.
Venom Type C
While not as thin as Type B, Type C, is also quite thin. It does not leak from the fangs of the vampires luckily although it can be released by accident. Much like Type B is does take longer to change and needs blood exchange. Although it takes about half the time to change then Type B(five days on average). Once they fall into a sleep to take two days for them to awaken a vampire. The venom and blood work together to replace the current blood cells with that of a vampire's.
Venom Type D
Type D is your typical vampire venom. Or mostly. Once the venom is delivered the person who is bitten will walk around for days (depending on the age of the vampire which increases the strength) slowly turning. Near the end they will walk around almost zombie like beginning to crave blood. The venom works quickly to attack the heart, infecting certain parts and clinging on, infecting the blood that moves through it. As the blood goes to each organ it repeats the same process but this is where it is slower. It takes days to infect the other organs and muscles which causes the change to be slower.
Venom Type E
Type E is a very different venom in the fact that it’s alive, more like a parasite. It’s excreted from the fangs and tends to take a few hours to work; the exact timing depends on where the victim is bitten as it only takes effect when it reaches the heart. But, the venom only travels to the heart if the body is completely drained of blood otherwise the white blood cells attack and kill it. Seeing the heart as competition, when the venom reaches it, it attacks and kills it. Once it’s done this it starts to swim around the body, taking the same paths as the blood would have and keeping the body alive to keep itself alive. But the venom still needs oxygen and glucose to survive which it gets from causing the host to desire blood, any blood will do. The body digests the blood and when it’s in the bloodstream the venom then eats it itself. The white blood cells are no longer a problem as the blood doesn’t belong to the host. As the venom is fed it grows stronger which in turn strengthens the host.
